Maple Tree Seeds

I often wonder why, You spent Your precious time on a lowly soul like me.
As I gaze at the stars, how small we must seem, like the seed of a maple tree.

And when I look at that seed, I see that You paired them and gave them each a wing.
Then You bring a breeze, to spread all those seeds and feed the birds that sing.

When I compare this seed with the earth and the stars,
I wonder why you choose us over other stars or planets like Mars.

What a special place You have made for me.
Where a seed can grow into a shade tree.

I still wonder why, You watch over me.
Am I any different than a maple tree seed.
